Ghana’s University for Development Studies (UDS) booked their place in the final of the World University Games after edging past Spain’s University of Granada in a tense semi-final encounter on Friday, September 26, 2025.

UDS delivered a disciplined and well-organised performance, keeping their Spanish opponents at bay throughout the contest.

The first half saw both sides struggle to create clear-cut chances, with neither able to establish real dominance despite flashes of attacking intent.
