Fuel prices go up - See latest prices for the month of June

Fuel prices across Ghana have increased as major Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) including GOIL, Shell, Star Oil, and TotalEnergies implement new price adjustments for the first pricing window of June.
The upward review has been driven by rising global crude oil prices and the continued depreciation of the Ghanaian cedi, which has increased the cost of importing petroleum products into the country.
Star Oil Leads Price Adjustments
Star Oil has revised its fuel prices, increasing petrol from GH¢14.60 per litre in late May to GH¢15.20 per litre, representing a 60-pesewa (4.1%) increase.
Its Ron 95 petrol also rose from GH¢15.49 to GH¢15.77 per litre. However, diesel remains unchanged at GH¢15.81 per litre.

GOIL Adjusts Petrol, Cuts Diesel Slightly
At GOIL stations, petrol now sells at GH¢15.20 per litre, up from GH¢14.60, reflecting a similar 60-pesewa increase.
Interestingly, GOIL reduced its Diesel XP price slightly from GH¢16.66 to GH¢16.50 per litre, marking a marginal decline.
Shell and TotalEnergies Also Increase Prices
Shell has raised petrol prices from GH¢14.99 to GH¢15.60 per litre, while diesel remains unchanged at GH¢16.99 per litre.
TotalEnergies has also increased petrol prices to GH¢15.60 per litre from GH¢14.99, with diesel rising slightly from GH¢16.95 to GH¢16.99 per litre.

Market Pressure and NPA Pricing Window
The price adjustments reflect ongoing volatility in the global petroleum market, where refined product prices have climbed in recent weeks.
The weakening cedi has further intensified import costs, forcing OMCs to adjust pump prices upward.
For the first pricing window of June, the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has set indicative benchmarks at GH¢15.20 per litre for petrol, GH¢15.49 for diesel, and GH¢13.48 per kilogram for LPG.
More fuel price changes are expected in the coming days as additional OMCs review their pricing structures.
