Daniel Annor Walker was born in Ghana in 1960. Growing up with a passion for football, he pursued the game not only as a player in his youth but later found his true calling in coaching. Coaching Career Beginnings

Walker’s professional coaching journey began in the early 2000s. Nania FC (2005–2011)

One of the defining chapters of his career came during his time with Nania FC, where he served first as an assistant coach before taking over as head coach. From 2005 to 2011, Walker moulded the club into a competitive side, culminating in a historic moment in 2011 when Nania FC stunned giants Asante Kotoko to win the MTN FA Cup. This victory remains one of the most remarkable upsets in Ghanaian football history and established Walker as a tactician of repute.

Accra Great Olympics

Walker later moved to Accra Great Olympics, a club with which he shared a deep connection. At the Olympics, he guided the team through some of its most competitive campaigns in the Ghana Premier League. Black Galaxies (Local Black Stars)

His coaching prowess earned him national recognition, and he was appointed head coach of Ghana’s Black Galaxies—the home-based national team. Under his leadership, the team qualified for the 2022 African Nations Championship (CHAN) held in Algeria. His guidance helped Ghana’s local players gain international exposure and competitive experience.

Berekum Chelsea and Vision FC

Walker also had a stint as head coach of Berekum Chelsea, where he worked to develop the club’s young talents while maintaining their competitive edge in the Ghana Premier League. At the time of his passing, he was serving as the technical advisor for Vision FC, where his wealth of experience continued to shape the next generation of Ghanaian footballers.
