FC Barcelona secured the 2025/26 La Liga title after defeating fierce rivals Real Madrid 2-0 in a thrilling El Clasico clash at Camp Nou.

Barcelona wrapped up the title race with three matches still remaining, claiming their 29th La Liga crown in dominant fashion under manager Hansi Flick.

The hosts made a dream start to the encounter and took the lead through Marcus Rashford, who curled a brilliant free-kick into the top corner in the opening stages of the game. Just nine minutes later, Ferran Torres doubled Barcelona’s advantage with a composed finish after a well-worked attacking move.

Real Madrid pushed to get back into the contest before halftime, with opportunities falling to Gonzalo García and Aurélien Tchouaméni, but neither could find the breakthrough.

After the restart, Madrid struggled to create clear-cut chances as Barcelona maintained control of the game. Jude Bellingham thought he had reduced the deficit midway through the second half, but his goal was ruled out for offside during the build-up.
