The New Patriotic Party has announced the expulsion of media personality Kevin Taylor and preacher Ernest Owusu Bempah over what the party described as gross misconduct and anti-party activities.

In an official statement, the NPP said the decision was taken in accordance with the party’s constitution and its commitment to discipline, loyalty, and unity within the party.

According to the statement, the two individuals were found guilty of engaging in activities that allegedly undermined the leadership of the party, publicly attacked the NPP, and acted in ways considered inconsistent with the party’s values and principles.

The party further stated that their actions brought the NPP into disrepute, created division among members, and breached the trust placed in them as public figures associated with the political party.

The NPP explained that the decision followed consultations with relevant party structures and was made in line with Articles 3(5), 4(2)(b), and 12(1)(a) of the party’s constitution.

“The NPP remains committed to discipline, unity, and the collective vision of building a strong, united, and prosperous Ghana,” the statement added.

The party also called on its members and supporters to remain calm, focused, and committed to the party’s objectives.
