In a farewell message, Justice Oppong expressed gratitude to both students and staff for their support throughout his three-year tenure as Director of the only institution offering the professional law course in Ghana. He confirmed that his final working day in the role will be August 31, 2025. “I had hoped to finish my full term or at least see through the current academic year and the forthcoming call to the bar ceremony for the final-year students. But sadly, that was not meant to be,” he stated. Justice Oppong’s departure marks a significant transition for the Ghana School of Law, as the institution prepares to welcome Prof. Atuguba’s leadership during this interim period.
